Jubair Bin Iqbal is an internationally acclaimed photographer from Bangladesh whose powerful visual storytelling has earned global recognition. With a photography career that began in 2010, Jubair has since become a leading name in documentary, street, and wedding photography. His work has been featured in over 100 major international platforms, including National Geographic, Time, Vogue, and The Guardian, reflecting his deep commitment to capturing real stories with artistic precision.

A passionate visual artist, Jubair’s photographs often explore themes of human resilience, cultural heritage, social development, and everyday beauty. He has won over 100 international photography awards and his work has been showcased in numerous national and international exhibitions. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Wikipedia photography award for his iconic image of Baitul Mukarram, Bangladesh’s national mosque.

Beyond his individual achievements, Jubair is the founder of JBI Gallery, one of the most renowned photography brands in Bangladesh. Under his leadership, JBI Gallery has become a trusted name for premium wedding, commercial, and editorial photography. Jubair is known not only for his technical expertise but also for his ability to make clients feel seen, understood, and celebrated.

Throughout his career, Jubair has collaborated with global organizations such as the United Nations, World Health Organization (WHO), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and many NGOs and INGOs, using his photography to raise awareness and drive social impact. He was also actively involved in documenting the COVID-19 pandemic as part of WHO’s communications efforts in Bangladesh.

An avid traveler and storyteller, Jubair is particularly drawn to train journeys, rain, and moments that evoke emotion and humanity. He has also been a jury member for multiple photography contests and served as the Photography-In-Charge at Y Magazine in 2021. His early leadership in the creative community includes serving as Vice President of the UIU Photography Club.

Jubair believes photography is more than just an image—it’s a voice, a memory, a mirror of time. With each frame, he strives to create work that not only captures beauty but also provokes thought and tells meaningful stories. In his personal life, he is a proud father to a daughter, Sarah Zunairah, whose presence continues to inspire his creative journey.
